Family Involvement in the Program
Where possible adult family members or significant others will attend the program orientation on the first day of the program. This will provide support for the participants of the program as well as provide input from families which will be helpful in formulating goals for participants.
During the program, couple sessions will be available as required.
Families are also welcome to attend an educational session for families on the last day of the program. This seminar will provide education related to operational stress injuries. Transition meetings for each participant and his or her family (if available) will clarify follow up plans and services in order to consolidate successes.
